Police confirmed that a woman was found dead outside her home in Patrick’s Island Monday morning.
“Police can confirm that the body of a 46-year-old woman was found outside her address in Patrick’s Avenue around 8.15am this morning (Monday 20 August 2012),” a statement from the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service read.
Officers were at the scene in Prospect Monday morning.
The statement did not say if there were any suspicious circumstances involved in the death and did not identify the deceased woman.
“Police are currently treating the death as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing,” police said.
