Teed up for funds

Maples and Calder recently supported the Cayman Islands Volleyball Federation’s Youth Development Programme by sponsoring a hole and two carts at their ‘Take a Kid To Golf’ fundraising event.

The unique golf event on 10 August focused on fun rather than scores, so that children of all ages and experience levels could enjoy the day.

“We are happy to contribute to the Volleyball Federation in support of their youth programme through an activity such as this,” said Paul Lumsden, Managing Partner of Maples and Calder’s Cayman office.

“Our firm is committed to partnering with organisations that endeavour to create exciting and interesting initiatives that attract the attention of our youth in a fun and wholesome way.”

Sharon Robinson of Maples and Calder, and Ken Stewart of MaplesFS chaperoned seven children of the Maples Group employees at the event. Maples and Calder actively supports a broad range of organisations which benefit members of our community, including the youth and the elderly.
