PRE-PRESS OPERATOR/GRAPHIC ARTIST

The successful applicant will have had at least 5 years experience working in the printing industry, or in a graphic design studio having obtained an extensive knowledge of commercial print. The role will include graphic design work using the latest versions of Adobe Creative Suite, the use of CFP’s state of the art pre-press workflow software and MIS system, plus provide a very high level of customer service.

A high level of competence is required but training will be given in CFP’s systems. The applicant will be self motivated, well organized, have a flexible approach to overtime and work well in a team.

Salary: Base salary between CI$35,000 to 45,000 per annum plus benefits

SALES REPRESENTATIVE – TELEPHONE DIRECTORY

Applicants must have at least 5 years sales experience preferably in directories, other print and online products and/or the publishing industry. Specific understanding of an account management sales philosophy is essential and a knowledge of the Caymanian business and local community is highly desirable. The successful candidate must be self motivated independently or in a team, be able to work to strict deadlines, be extremely proactive and have excellent computer skills.

Salary: Base salary between CI$25,000 to $35,000 per annum plus attractive commission incentives and benefits.

GOSS COMMUNITY PRESS - SENIOR OPERATOR

Applicants must have at least 5 years experience and qualifications in newspaper printing on the Goss Community Press. The successful applicants will provide strong printing and mechanical skills, maintain production standards to meet critical deadlines and high quality to meet customer expectations, ensure proper maintenance and a clean work environment, train, be team players and be able to work flexible hours when necessary. Supervisory experience and willingness to mutli-task would be an advantage.

Base Salary between CI$30,000 and CI $ 40,000 per annum plus overtime and benefits.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Applicants must have at least 5-10 years experience in graphic design preferably in the publishing or marketing agency industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for, and need to have a detailed elemental understanding of newspaper graphic design principles and application and preferably multimedia design knowledge - for example – magazines, commercial print and internet. Experience in the following applications is highly desirable – Adobe Photoshop CS/Illustrator CS/Indesign CS, Quark Express, Apache, Macromedia Dreamweaver/Flash MX and Mactive Adbase.

Salary: CI $ 36,000 to CI $ 42,000 per annum plus overtime and benefits.

PHOTO-JOURNALIST

Applicants must be university or college educated and have 5 -10 years journalism experience in the newspaper and publishing industry. Specific understanding of the Caymanian business and local community is highly desirable but not necessary. Business journalist specialism a bonus!. The successful candidates will be self motivated and proactive individuals who are able to work to strict deadlines independently or in a team.

Salary: CI $ 35,000 to CI $ 45,000 per annum plus benefits.

SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Applicants must have at least 5 years sales experience preferably in newspaper, other print and online products and/or the publishing industry. Specific understanding of an account management sales philosophy is essential and a knowledge of the Caymanian business and local community is highly desirable but not necessary. The successful candidate must be self motivated independently or in a team, be able to work to strict deadlines, and be extremely proactive as this role involves external sales role where business development is required.

Base salary between CI$25,000 to $30,000 per annum plus very attractive commission incentives and benefits.
