Construction and Master Plan

The design of Cayman Enterprise City harnesses the fine balance of aesthetics, strength and sustainability. The primary design and development ethic of Cayman Enterprise City is to create a premier setting that will protect the human and material assets of every business, ensure the integrity of the Cayman-style aesthetic, be sensitive to the natural environment, and will stand the test of time. The design team has painstakingly made sure in each design decision that every element of the campus fits naturally into the Savannah community.

The plans include an extensive amount of green energy efficiency initiatives including (but not limited to) solar to meet most of the sites energy needs and green exterior walls to assist with minimizing energy consumption for cooling. The entire project will be sensitive to the existing natural beauty of the Savannah area and because of the location of the land and its current infrastructure; no public funds will be required to facilitate the zones on-going development.

We will be surveying the site to identify and preserve mature indigenous trees and plants so that they may be incorporated into the overall design. The master plan is designed as a community of medium to small scale buildings and the design lends itself to easy adjustment or re-alignment to preserve the site nature recourses and beauty.

The buildings are also designed at a scale that will allow fast tracked construction scheduling and the ability to have a number of local teams working on different buildings as required by tenant demand.

In the interim five properties in George Town have been approved for use as temporary Zone space by Cabinet, thus allowing the benefits of foreign direct investment by our clients to begin immediately.

CEC Career Development Bureau
The CEC Caymanian Career Development Bureau (CCDB) was established in February 2012 with a mandate to provide as many opportunities for Caymanians as possible as far as careers and business enterprises.

Vision: Our Vision is for Caymanians to have new and exciting opportunities to benefit from the development of Knowledge Based Industries within Cayman Enterprise City.

Mission: Enterprise Cayman is a partnership between Cayman Enterprise City and the Cayman Islands Government which facilitates opportunities for Caymanians within knowledge based industries. This will be achieved by raising awareness of knowledge based industries, promoting potential new careers and connecting talent with opportunity.

Overall Progress
Queries are coming in from potential clients around the world and we are pursuing these leads with energy and focus. CEC clients have already begun investing in Cayman including the purchase of real estate and hiring of staff. CEC and its Zone clients have engaged multiple local businesses to provide services including recruitment services, moving services, real estate rentals and sales, office equipment, computers and business machines, cars and a multitude of other products and services. Local law firms, corporate service providers, accounting firms and banks are also providing professional services to CEC and all the new Zone companies and their employees.
