While killing time this morning, I checked out the overview about VaVaVoom, a new dance fitness class at Anytime Fitness. This was developed by a professional pole dancer and looks like a fun opportunity to develop some non-work-related ‘skills’. The program promises to target your abs, thighs and butt, so I am adding it on my list of ‘things to try’.
I am back into a regular routine now that last month’s series of unfortunate events seems to be behind me. I am in love with my pink shoes and ready to test them on this Saturday’s 5K (walk!) for Breast Cancer Awareness month. I have lost friends and close family to this disease and actually started this journey because of my own high risk. It is interesting that the organisers think that prize giving can start at 7:45!
I haven’t tried anything new in the kitchen this week so I will have to remedy that. My switch to whey protein instead of soy is really helping with my workouts so I will stay with that.
