Summer can be a tough time to be on island, from the heat during the day to the mosquitoes at night. Add to that keeping a constant eye on the horizon and the weather websites to see whether something is brewing, and pretty soon you feel like you need a holiday, even if you’ve just had one.
In fact, it might be just the perfect time to treat yourself to a relaxing treatment at the Da Vinci Centre, and with a range of summer specials you can now do so for less.
“We do 60 minute massages for $60, we’re also doing the microderm facial for $85, acupuncture is 30 minutes for $35, 60 minutes is $70 and then we’re also doing laser specials, for laser hair removal, removal of hyper-pigmentation and veins, we’re doing up to 30 per cent off, so people come in and have a consultation with me, I can go over it and then create a price for them,” says Kelly Lanza of the Da Vinci Centre.
According to Kelly the response to their summer specials has been so tremendous that they have decided to extend it.
“The massage special was only going to be for August, but we decided to extend our summer promotion to the end of September due to the great response from our customers and repeated requests to extend it,” she says.
Even though many companies try to boost business in the slow summer seasons, Kelly says the Da Vinci Centre has actually had to extend its hours on Mondays, so they are now open until 7pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursday.
“We wanted to make services like massages accessible to everyone, regardless of who they are, without dropping the standard of treatment we provide. Everyone deserves to feel and look their best, and if we can make that happen then we have reached our goal,” says Kelly.
“We’re trying to do our best so the average person can say ‘You know what, I’ve never had a massage, and I can get a massage in a beautiful place’. We want everybody to enjoy the place and the service we provide.” WH
