This month sees the return of the ever popular Cayman27 Island Living Show, Cayman’s premiere home and island living expo. The event will see exhibitors from across a range of industries gather at the Cayman International School’s Arts and Recreation Centre at Camana Bay on Friday 20 July and Saturday 21 July.

Exhibitors will include banks, gas appliances, security, automotive, furniture, home entertainment and automation, construction, energy saving techniques, things for the kids, insurance and more.
If all the exhibitors don’t attract you, the event is big on another feature that is always a favourite – free stuff.

Entry into the show is free, there is plenty of free parking available, there is a free shuttle service from the Camana Bay town centre, free reusable groceries bags and even a chance to win one of two new Apple iPads, courtesy of Cayman27.

You can easily spend an hour or two walking through the displays, chatting to the exhibitors about their latest products and services, and then grab a bite to eat and something to drink while you’re there.

On Friday evening, local band Clever Knots will be making sure that you get your Friday evening started right at the show as they provide the entertainment.

On Saturday the show will host a number of organisations and events.

The Cayman Islands Humane Society will also be at the show on Saturday with some of the puppies and dogs housed at the shelter for families to interact with and maybe even adopt.

Volunteers from Cayman Animal Rescue Enthusiasts will also be at the show on Saturday so people can find out how they can get involved with the work the organisation is doing with Cayman’s abandoned and neglected pets.

Also on Saturday, Home Gas will be hosting a Caribbean Cook-Off on Saturday, showcasing young local cooking talent. Of course food is not just for looking at, so they will be offering a delicious menu for visitors to enjoy as well.

The show promises to be a great source of useful information as well, with CUC presenting energy saving tips for summer, while Hazard Management Cayman Islands will be distributing important hurricane preparedness information. WestStar TV will also be partnering with the Discovery Channel for their display, which promises lots of fun and giveaways.

The show hours are from 5pm to 8pm on Friday 20 July and from 10am to 5pm on Saturday 21 July.
