The George Carvalho International Beauty Salon opened its doors to the public on 1 November, 2011 in Buckingham Square, right in the heart of Seven Mile Beach. Under the leadership of acclaimed stylist George Carvalho, a talented team of professionals offers a full range of salon services for both ladies and gentlemen.

Hairdressing services include cutting, flat ironing, relaxer treatments, permanent waves, Brazilian keratin treatments, deep conditioning and bridal hair services. A range of beauty treatments including waxing, facials, Nepalese massage, manicures, pedicures and threading are also available and the knowledgeable staff are happy to recommend suitable products to take home in order to extend one’s fresh-out-of-the-salon look. George and his team invite you to come and relax in their capable hands.

George Carvalho
A native of Salvador, Brazil, George has over 20 years experience as a stylist. For the past eight years he has been charming customers in Cayman with his easy going manner and down to earth honesty.

Trained in Brazil, George’s multilingual abilities (he is fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish and Italian) and his familiarity with all hair types – Afro, Caucasian and mixed - make him ideally qualified to serve Cayman’s multicultural population. In addition to his cutting, colouring and styling abilities he is an expert in Brazilian extensions and Brazilian keratin treatments.
Brazilian hair extension

When you have short hair but dream of long hair, without waiting years for it to grow, hair extensions are the solution. At George Carvalho’s salon an alternative to the fusion extension is offered: the Brazillian knot. This type of extension is ideal for those with thinning hair, and for those who want fuller, thicker hair.

Because they use human hair, these extensions can be treated as you would your own hair – they can be shampooed, blow dried and styled as normal. The extensions are easily removed without damaging existing hair and with proper care and maintenance can last anywhere from three to five months.
