Situated on a prime stretch of Seven Mile Beach, the Westin Casuarina is a great example of all that makes spending time in the Cayman Islands great – from white beaches and crystal clear water to sunsets and palm trees.

While reclining in a lounger next to the pool or relaxing on the beach, a cold beer can certainly seem tempting, and fortunately the pool bar is close at hand with a cold Caybrew on tap.

“We have been working with Caybrew from day one. We want to sell local products as much as possible, and Caybrew is a great product,” says Carl Goldner, food and beverage director at the Westin.

This approach to serving up local products and flavours can be found not only in the beer served but also on the Westin’s restaurant menus, where local flavours en produce have an important role to play. After all, who wants to go on a vacation to an exotic location only to eat and drink the same thing they can have at home?

“We serve Caybrew in all our outlets, we have pretty much the whole line of Caybrew, and it’s very popular with our tourists, they want to try the local beer, and we’re proud to present that to them,” says Carl.

Caybrew is served in all the outlets at the Westin, so whether you are relaxing by the pool, meeting someone at the lobby bar or enjoying a meal in either Casa Havana or Ferdinand’s a cold glass of Caybrew is never far away.

According to Carl, CayLight is a big hit with visitors from the US who like the light beer, especially when spending every waking minute out under the blazing summer sun.
