Mention the Cayman Islands to anyone who doesn’t live here and they immediately think of an adventurous vacation destination. However, that is something one can easily lose sight of when you spend your days in an office. After all, an office here is pretty much like an office anywhere else, although the view might occasionally be better.
There are plenty of adventures to be had in the Cayman Islands. Of course, watersports play a very large role, but the breadth and depth of what is available often stuns even those of us who have been here quite a while. Even out of the water there is plenty to do, whether hiking the Mastic Trail or visiting the caves on Cayman Brac.
If after all the adventuring you feel the need for a break, a staycation can be an adventure in its own right as you explore a different district or even just a different facet of island life. After all, residents rarely get to experience the Islands the same way visitors do, and it is well worth reminding yourself every now and again that we do indeed reside in paradise.
